XX Aluminum’s 200,000-ton Recycled Aluminum Profile Production Line Officially Put into Operation, Leading New Practices in Circular Economy for Aluminum Processing Industry.

Core of the Commissioning: Building a Full-Chain System of “Waste Aluminum Recycling – Recycling Processing – Finished Product Application”
Dual Leadership in Production Scale and Environmental Benefits
With a total investment of 860 million yuan and covering an area of 120 mu (approximately 8 hectares), the production line is equipped with 5 fully automated recycled aluminum processing lines, capable of producing 200,000 tons of multi-category products annually, including solar bracket profiles, automotive structural profiles, and architectural curtain wall profiles. Compared with traditional primary aluminum production processes, the line adopts “waste aluminum pretreatment – low-temperature smelting – waste heat recovery” technology, reducing energy consumption per ton of products by 62% and annual carbon dioxide emissions by over 800,000 tons—equivalent to the carbon sequestration capacity of 4.4 million mature trees.
Intelligent Configuration Ensures Product Stability
The production line has introduced the German Siemens PLC control system, realizing full-process digital management from raw material sorting to finished product delivery: At the raw material end, AI intelligent sorting equipment is used to accurately separate aluminum alloys and impurity metals, with a sorting accuracy rate of 99.2%; the smelting section is equipped with an online composition detection system, which conducts alloy composition analysis every 30 seconds, ensuring the purity of recycled aluminum remains stable at over 99.8% to meet the needs of high-end manufacturing fields.

Technological Breakthroughs: Overcoming the Industry Pain Point of “Insufficient Strength” in Recycled Aluminum Profiles
Upgraded Alloy Formula Drives Performance Leap
To address the issue of mechanical performance fluctuations in recycled aluminum, XX Aluminum’s R&D team spent 2 years optimizing the alloy formula—adding trace zirconium elements to 6063 recycled aluminum and combining it with the “stepwise aging heat treatment process” (110℃×4h + 160℃×2h). This has increased the profile’s tensile strength to 260MPa and yield strength to 240MPa, representing a 35% performance improvement compared to ordinary recycled aluminum profiles. The product has successfully passed the Germany TÜV Rheinland mechanical performance certification.
Surface Treatment Technology Adapts to Multi-Scenario Needs
The production line is simultaneously equipped with 3 fully automated surface treatment lines, supporting various processes such as electrophoresis, powder coating, and fluorocarbon coating: Specifically, solar bracket profiles adopt “weather-resistant powder coating” with a coating thickness of 60μm, and the color difference ΔE is less than 1.5 after 2,000 hours of xenon lamp aging testing; automotive profiles use the “chromium-free passivation + electrophoresis” process, meeting the EU RoHS environmental standards and currently being supplied in batches to a new energy vehicle enterprise.
